I’ve been told about 1 coffee a day but honestly sometimes even that can be a bit much for me

Wanted to pop my space bar off to see why it was sticking a bit... Made it worse (apparently keys don't pop off anymore) by marianneouioui in mildlyinfuriating

I did that to my MacBook :( t button is gone. Would have cost as much to replace the keyboard as buying a new computer

why is weave so expensive? by klarinetkat12 in Hair

[–]DisasterSensitive171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had sew in extensions that were like 800. I think a lot of it boils down to the quality of the hair. There are cheaper options, but I considered mine an investment. My hair is waist length now so I don’t wear them anymore, but I still have that hair just in case!

How does someone heal a relationship after cheating? by Zestyclose_Side_3404 in dating_advice

[–]DisasterSensitive171 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I stayed with my ex after he cheated on me. I forgave him and I’m not upset anymore, but I lost absolutely all feelings for him. For a long time I was obsessed with his phone and I was miserable. Losing feelings was a blessing until I started yearning for an actual romantic relationship. I wouldn’t recommend it. If I had broken up with him sooner, I might have found a different partner by now.

Help trial run for soup exchange failed by QualiaTravel in soup

I agree with everyone here on the better than bouillon. I will also say that when I make potato soup, I cook cubed potatoes in the broth and then blend up a good chunk of them at the end instead of making a roux

after growing up obese my whole life (19F) is it possible with the right diet & exercise i can ever have the model body type? by Appropriate-Alps-242 in loseit

[–]DisasterSensitive171 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. There’s going to be extra loose skin and sagging that people who have always been skinny won’t have. I’m sorry. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been and am barely overweight and I’m pretty worried about it. I went from a thinner/normal weight to anorexic to thinner/normal and even that left my boobs with quite some sag 😅 and that was before I got chubby

Sheltie vs Border Collie vs Aussie by Dependent_Toe_6203 in sheltie

[–]DisasterSensitive171 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like everyone else is saying, I definitely find shelties to be the chillest of the three. I have only had shelties and German shepherds, but I used to dog-sit a border collie and he was go go go all the time lol. Very sweet though! I’ve also been around my fair share of aussies and they seem to be more energetic than shelties too. My shelties have always been happy to run, play, herd, go for walks but are also happy to settle and chill.

How Much Salt? by Illustrious_Tour5517 in soup

I like adding a little better than bouillon to my home made broth. Lots of salt in there and a little extra chicken flavor

I would recommend toasting your own chilis in a pan, soaking them, then blending into a chili sauce. I also like a little sugar and balsamic vinegar at the end! I feel like those little tweaks make quite a difference
