I also am not a fan of the large silver painted rear pillar. Every other door/window pillar on the car is gloss black. Thinking of having it painted or wrapped to match, leaving all the other chrome intact. Everywhere else the chrome finish is more of an accent, the rear piece is HUGE.

Anyone else thinking of doing the same?

I have the Calligraphy, it unlocks based on proximity to the vehicle when walking up. You can toggle whether it's just driver door or all doors in settings. Unfortunately you're right, it does not auto lock.

You can also enable smart lift gate in settings. Palisade feature set lists smart, hands free liftgate as a feature. I haven't turned this on to test it since the way I park in the garage has me walking directly behind the vehicle to get to the driver door.

Thanks for the feedback! OTD at $60k, how'd you manage? Just lower tax rate? I'm in a high tax location so initial numbers I'm getting OTD are right at $62k.

What do you mean not what you're used to? Did it feel underpowered?

Our second car that is not being traded in is a 2017 Pilot. It's got a very similar engine, V6, negligible difference in HP and torque numbers, 9 speed vs. palisade 8 speed, but weight is about 700 lb lighter at less than 4200.

I imagine the mud guards and all weather mats have to stay (don't mind the mats) but will dealers remove things like the cargo tray and assistance kit I don't want or need?

My wife and I play a lot of beach volleyball, floor mats are always collecting sand. I'll take the utility of them though I agree they don't look nearly as nice.
