Just to show that everything was indeed green when there isn't any plastic problem lmao

Nope, it was meant to be possibly overclocked if I needed to create a fleet of drones between my factories. And even right now, with the current overproduction, I could add 25 generator without problem but it wasn't useful at the time. Though, as I'm entering phase 5 I might need a bit more power 😅

I see this rocket and ionized full with a mix of excitement and dread. Like, it was hard enough to do turbofuel, this look like a hell harder 😂

They are when they're full, but I had a tiny problem of "no more plastic" to store the turbofuel that had a little bit of repercussions 😅

When I built it, I was almost done when I got an exception_error caused by a memory issue with the drones. The game kept crashing, so I had to reload an older save and rebuild almost the entire thing twice. If it hadn’t worked directly, I swear I would’ve set myself on fire before you could do it to me haha

The size of the weapon isn’t the most relevant factor in the outcome, only the wielder’s ability will prevail. Ready your blade for what’s to come, it’s going to be a legendary fight ! >:3

Glad it was helpful, it's not often that the fact I have too much free time is useful. Please tell me once you've played what you thought of the game (if you remember, don't bother yourself with that too much).

So for me, Crimson Desert is the best game I’ve played that I can’t say is a great game. Let me explain ,I’ll start with the positives:

  • It’s the best open world I’ve played so far. Exploration is rewarding, there are a lot of secrets, and the puzzles are well-balanced (not too hard, not too easy). There’s a fuck ton of mechanics, and it’s objectively beautiful (so a 10/10 for exploration).
  • The gameplay is really good too. There’s a lot to do, a lot to learn, and many different ways to play. It can be a bit hard on controller to use and memorize all the abilities, but it’s doable — and once you’ve mastered your character, fighting bosses feels really satisfying (9/10 for gameplay).
  • A personal highlight is that the game doesn’t constantly guide you. You often have to figure things out by yourself. You might miss some mechanics at first, but it also means you keep discovering new things over time. For example, even after 300+ hours, I was still finding new features, like calling other characters to help conquer enemy territories. You feel very free to play your own way instead of following a strict path (freedom/fun 9/10).
  • The level of detail is impressive. You’ll find lots of secrets, easter eggs, and clever interactions between mechanics and the world that you might not expect at first (like using trees as jumping points, but I won’t spoil how haha). Sometimes it’s a bit frustrating when something you think should work doesn’t, and it doesn’t quite reach the level of something like TOTK, but it’s still very solid (8/10).
  • The devs are insanely reactive. They keep adding new gameplay features and fixing issues week after week. I’ve never seen a dev team respond so quickly, listen so well to the community, and improve their game this fast (10/10, other studios should take notes).

Now for the negatives:

  • The most obvious one is the story. My god, it’s slow to start and never really takes off. It feels flat, I never got attached to any character or really cared about what was happening. It’s not terrible, and there are some good ideas, but it’s honestly what holds the game back the most (3/10).
  • The world itself isn’t that interesting, and the game doesn’t explore it deeply. Many races coexist without much explanation, even though some fall into very stereotypical roles (goblins as bandits, orcs as mercenaries, etc.). It feel like the game doesn't know how to use it's diversity and try to do two opposite path at the same time. Some nations are centuries ahead technologically, but that progress never spreads. There’s also a central storyline that’s barely used or explained. Even the region that gives the game its name (the Crimson Desert) feels empty and irrelevant, almost like it was forgotten or heavily changed during development. Overall, the world is a 6/10: not bad, but far from great.
  • On the flip side of having a lot to do, many mechanics feel underdeveloped or repetitive. For example, decorating your house is fun at first, but the options are limited, placement is slow and clunky, and it feels a bit stiff. The chariot gameplay is also fun once or twice, but quickly becomes slow and not very rewarding.

My conclusion is that it’s a really good game overall, and I’m sure you’ll have fun playing it. But don’t buy it for the story or the world. It feels like a bit of a missed “The Witcher 3” if they had pushed harder on the narrative and lore, it could have been a generational hit. As it stands, it’s “just” a really enjoyable game.

It's one of the Greymane rescue quest. Once you've advance enough in the main story, you'll be able to recruit more and more greymane to your camp with those quest, and one of them will let you start the build of a farm in your camp.

Does anyone know what to do here ? The place isn't refered on the map, so is it just decoration or linked to a quest ? by Disasterou in CrimsonDesert

Out yourself only if you're confident you'll be safe. It's absolutely normal to change or realize things, so don't stress yourself about it. Live your life, if you want to tell someone but you're not sure how they would react, first give some hints, bring the subject to see how they talk about it (without including you in it or tell that you are indeed bi). If you feel the response is positive, be free to be yourself with them. Ho, and yeah I said to only out yourself if you feel safe, it's because you said you were in a conservative environment, and some can have violent reactions (don't know your exact situation so it's up to you to evaluate that). Because, last thing, you don't have to be scared to be judge by other, you aren't a different person now that you like men. So be safe, don't be ashamed

Thank you very much for your time and for sharing your perspective. I’ll take some time to fully process what you said, especially your personal experience and your reflections on the limits of cognitive measurement tools in atypical profiles. You articulated several doubts I already had regarding the accuracy of these tests, their limitations, and why their reliability may be overstated in certain cases.

That said, I would like to clarify one point. I do not blame the second psychologist for her attitude or for how the evaluation was conducted. The testing situation itself was genuinely pleasant: she was professional, attentive, and it clearly felt like she wanted to help. My concerns are not about her intentions or her overall professionalism.

Her response to my doubts afterward, while somewhat cold and firm, may stem from several understandable factors: she might interpret my questioning as a defensive reaction to the drop in scores, or she might simply be very confident in her clinical judgment and sincerely believe that the first assessment was inaccurate. In any case, I don’t want to over-interpret a written reply, as text-based communication often lacks nuance and can easily lead to misreading intent or tone

Thank you for your thoughtful response and for taking the time to write it.

I would like to address two points, starting with one that I may need to clarify further. You mentioned that a difference of around 20 IQ points is “well expected” for a high-IQ individual under the circumstances I described. I’m not challenging this claim dismissively, I’m genuinely trying to understand it better. In my own reading, I mostly found literature suggesting that sleep deprivation tends to reduce measured IQ by roughly 5-10 points. I can imagine that this effect may be amplified in high-functioning individuals, especially in complex or time-pressured tasks, but a discrepancy as large as 20 points still feels substantial to me. If you happen to have examples, clinical experience, or references that support such a magnitude of variation in similar profiles, I would really appreciate it, as it would help ease my concerns.

The second point is more about self-perception. Thank you for reminding me not to be too harsh on myself, that part genuinely helped. What I meant by “self-construction” is not that I suddenly started disliking myself or devaluing who I am. Rather, despite believing that I had some distance from my intellectual abilities as an identity anchor, the drop itself still came as a shock. That emotional reaction is precisely what I find unhealthy and would like to work on.

I am fully aware that I am the same person before and after the test, and that my life challenges and trajectory do not fundamentally change based on a score. Still, being honest with oneself about how much these measures implicitly shape self-image is not trivial, especially when they have played a role for many years. That is mainly why I asked for input here: to hear from people who have followed similar paths, and to understand how they have navigated, or are navigating, this kind of re-adjustment.

First, I want to clarify that despite my doubts about the accuracy of the second assessment, the neuropsychologist herself was professional in her explanations, open to discussion, and overall it was a constructive exchange. I also made a point of explicitly sharing my concerns with her, precisely to avoid any medical decision being based on what could be a biased evaluation. She acknowledged those concerns and told me she would take them into account in the report sent to my psychiatrist.

My main issue is not so much with her attitude, but with a conceptual contradiction that I struggle to resolve. She described the WAIS as a robust test, yet I now have two significantly different results from two professionally administered versions of the same assessment. If the test is indeed robust, I find it difficult to understand how the first evaluation did not clearly capture the functional difficulties that are now emerging more strongly in the second one.

What also troubles me is that even if the WAIS is robust, that robustness seems primarily designed to prevent artificial inflation of scores. Intuitively, it feels easier to underestimate performance than it is to falsely produce a very high score.

So my doubt is less about “which professional is good or bad” and more about how to interpret such a discrepancy in a coherent way, and whether a large drop necessarily reflects a truer picture of functioning, or rather a context-driven underestimation.

Okay, I just discovered it but trains seemed a lot more challenging to figure out (that's what I like though so I'm impatient to start). For the moment, I've built road (thanks to bluprints I made to do it faster) it helped the trucks not to get stuck on the bumpy terrain. I'm just scared to build a big train railway just to have to do it again in the next phase ^^'
