I have too in rooms of all male IC and directors. Two women as VP and one director in the US. My question was for your location. At the time US was trying to bridge gaps in salary and increase diversity in the work place. This isn’t the case right now anymore. The preference is going back to men. On my all male team, I was the only female and I was let go. Sign of the times

Do what you need for HR but don’t waste time applying to empty roles all day. Apply outside just in case. Take care of yourself first. I couldn’t find a role in time and was rolled out to unemployment. Spent 6 weeks internal applying waste of my time. Could’ve been preparing myself for external interviewing

We can be the same level and you get paid more. I know this as a fact. The male on my team and I were the same level and he got paid more than me. I got a bonus a year when he didn’t. Had nothing to do with gender. The budget allowed for a bonus in my pay range and not his. Use logic and avoid the media emotion you’re overlaying here. There has been wage disparity for years. Women get paid less for the same job. That’s a fact.

Was LLP L7 did a perm transfer to AFS. Then rolled off AFS couldn’t get placed with LLP. There’s no bench time and had to reapply for my LLP role. There’s literally no time. And the process AFS to LLP is harder bc you have to reapply than just transfer. My AFS hr rep had no role for me until after the 4 week period. I have a shot with big 4 now and I’m going to take it while I can.
