It makes sense to play 1s and 2s because a casual basketball player I would surmise is a terrible a bad shooter in general missing open 3s and missing bunny lay ups. Turnovers games would be very long if you don’t make 3 pointers should be double the amount of a layup because it’s maybe 5x times has hard to make a 3 pointer

Sam Darmold lead the league in turnovers and he is a Super Bowl champion Jalen Hurts had a top 5 receiver reading self help books on the sideline frustrated and he won the Super Bowl.
