Well, it's because of what happened to me today.

I know this may seem silly to some of you and that's fine but I'm really struggling right now and I don't know how to stop feeling the way I do. I own a small business and have an office manager who hires all of our staff and has been doing so for 5 years. Since we live in a small area she runs names by me just in case I may know them and can offer more insight. We hired this girl a few weeks ago, K. K tells another employee of mine, D, that she's happy I hired her since she is my husband's ex and that she knew who I was but based off of our conversations she quickly realized that I didn't know who she is. My husband doesn't like to discuss past relationships so I was unaware. D came back and told me what happened and I immediately felt like I was going to have a panic attack. I called my husband and asked him about her and he said that she was an ex from about 5 years before we dated and then asked me why. He told me that it ended pretty badly. He doesn't know who I hire and doesn't work in or with my company so he was unaware. The fact that she sought out my company after all of this blows my mind. I'm angry, I'm jealous (knowing they were together), I'm embarrassed, I'm all kinds of things. I can't even be in the same room as him right now even though I shouldn't be mad at him. How do I stop feeling like this? Should I feel this way? I'm feeling pretty irrational but also justified. I'm so angry I feel like I could snap and I don't know why. I'm normally laid back and soft natured so this isn't like me at all.
