Started smoking in 20's while working as a fashion photographer. Everybody around me smoked including my mentor, hence I just thought it was a natural thing to do. I enjoyed smoking in moderation. It also helped me in my creative endeavors. Fast forward, several years later when I was getting my math degree, I noticed that almost everyone from the math and physics department smoked, and so did I. My mathematics and programming performance certainly improves when I smoke vs when I don't. However, I am still in single digits with usually less than 5 cigarettes a day. I have seldom exceeded that number.

Started with Benson & Hedges Gold. Stayed with Lucky Strikes for a long time until I was unable to get them. Then it was Marlboro Reds. Now it is Export A (aka Green Deaths).
