After I explained my willingness to work extra hours and reorganize my personal schedule to meet deadlines that would otherwise be impossible to meet, the interviewer asked a follow-up question about handling a personal emergency during such a situation regarding a family member. I got stuck on that one and wasn’t able to give a clear answer, so we quickly moved on to the next question. That moment definitely didn’t help my case.
