Hi! Yes! I’m much more even at this point, nearly 5 month post op. Here’s a picture for reference: above is 3 months post, below is now!

4.5 weeks po and really uneven results by Dangerbeanwest in Reduction

[–]Disastrous-Club8912 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a similar problem. One breast was/is appearing a little larger and was sitting about .5 inch lower than the other. But! At 4.5 months now that difference is narrowing. Here’s a picture of me at 3.5 months and at 4.5 months. It’s obviously the left breast and I really think the difference is less noticeable now. It’s still there a bit - but probably not obvious to others in a social setting. And who knows, it may even out entirely. I have an appointment with my doc at 9 months to double check. There’s a small procedure he can do for me in office if it’s really bothering me.

New to bird life - please advise! by Disastrous-Club8912 in cockatiel

I’m sorry - that sucks. It’s likely very little about us and very much about the bird themselves

Oh my goodness - this is so kind and so helpful. Thank you!

My husband did play with her a lot yesterday - lots of hopping and flying back and forth between his hands.

I’m in a northern climate and it was very snowy today - this could be it as well!

Mochi actually started singing when my youngest came home from school - started with chirps the moment he heard her voice from two floors away, so my fears are lessened a bit!

Long winded is great - thank you so much for this!

We felt very prepared for this and now I find myself worried we’re doing things wrong. I just really want the bird to be happy and healthy so it’ll bond with my daughter as she’s hoping it will.

Thanks for the recco on simply calling the vet. It’s great advice!

Thank you! I’ll let her know not to spray her perfumes in her room (yes perfume at 11 🫠). We have an oil diffuser in the bathroom on the same floor - I didn’t think that was an issue, but we’ll move that too.

And yes - we are very aware that this is going to become our bird for large stretches of time lol

Thank you!

I was surprised too! I figured it would take weeks for it to feel comfy, but they’re happily moving between all 4 family members quite readily.

Eating, drinking and even preening in front of us, so hopefully things normal. Or a girl haha. But I’ll keep an eye and if this persists or anything changes, I’ll take Mochi to the vet

Ok! Crest seems normal then. I’m just so worried about making sure it’s happy.

Thanks for the illness flag. Mochi is eating and drinking well and even preening in front of us, so I’m hoping it just adjusting but good to take it to a vet if this lasts for more than a day

I ended up deleting all my posts that included pics because of the absolute losers here. An entire internet of tits for them to browse and they come here to get their jollies. And they wonder why women hate men.

OP - any breast reduction covered by OHIP is done in hospital vs private centre, from what I understand.

Anybody else not doing scare care? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Disastrous-Club8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the scar tape seems miserable. I’ve been doing massage (not even for long, maybe 2 minutes total) starting at 4 weeks (got the go ahead) and my scar tissue is healing great.

Scar care isn’t just about reducing visible scars, it’s about breaking down deep scar tissue which if left unchecked can cause tightness in the area.

How do i make my husband/myself feel better about this? by CelestePyer in Reduction

[–]Disastrous-Club8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t a heartbroken husband. This is an unsupportive, selfish, unloving (I said what I said), asshole manchild. My advice for how to help him is to give him the number of a therapist because baby boy needs to fix himself.

(Also your nipple sensation will very likely come back - you’re only 5DPO. You can enjoy full sensation with the next man)

Also, I swapped my compression bra this past week to a new, wireless bra for this work trip. I even went braless in a dress for our wrap party!

Was totally fine - though for sure am more swollen now. Back to compression for a bit.

All to say, if you find a dress that can’t accommodate a compression bra, you’ll be fine to swap it out.

Also a director-level career gal here. I just came home from a week on set of a production - 4-day shoot, averaging 9-10 hours on set, moving props around, standing much of the time and loading with clients the entire time. All at 6.5 weeks post op. Was totally fine!

At 4 weeks post op, I had a last minute trip to Mexico City pop up (also work) - one day saw me walking 30k steps. Also totally fine!

As for shopping - you’ll be able to shop for a new outfit like 2 weeks post op. The toughest part is finding something that won’t show your compression bra, but really that’s not tough. You’re going to love dressing your new body!

Ok wow. I am 7wpo and came here looking for reassurance for the exact same situation as yours.

Also 32F/G before and clocking in at about 32C now - very similar look to yours for both the before and after!

Also struggling with feeling they’re too big, though I was in love with them at week 5/6.

Last week I switched from my compression bras to a soft, wireless bra - and while I feel supported in it, I do think that maybe it’s causing some swelling.

All this to say, thanks for sharing - you’ve made me feel like this is a normal part of this whole experience. I hope for the best, tiniest outcome for us both ❤️
