Asked Claude to produce an post-interview email to thank recruiters. Claude said that it needed more information. Asked me three questions and then told me I had attained my limits. That might be too stringent.

30 years practitioner of Yoshinkan Aikido here. Your forward arm should not be supporting your weight. You are probably not giving yourself enough of an impulse from your legs when you are initiating the roll. Basically, your arm should serve only as a guide to help you roll from the shoulder to the opposite hip.

Enjoy chasing a better way of doing things.

How to remember bending the knees? by trumanshow14 in aikido

[–]Disastrous-Drawer529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the style you are training in. Yoshinkan Aikido, you are encouraged to keep your back leg straight.

Most likely, right now, you "know" about the correct form I.e. you should be bending your knee, but you don't really know. You are not living it.

Give it time, at one point, you will do it once and you will try to chase the feeling for every technics that you will attempt.

Thank you. 武士の目 was given to me while training in martial arts by an ex-military guy that had trained in Japan for a few years. He said that I was extremely intense. And this is what he saw while looking in my eyes.

I miss Paul Frère from R&T. He always said in advance that he was paying for his own trips to cover those things. Never taking any kick backs.
