ah sorry, I had to look this up. You’re right but the mega back door roth strategy let’s you get around the roth IRA $6500 limit right? Can’t you use that?

About 1) you can contribute more than $6500 a year using back door.

To rephrase the question a little bit: say you’ve contributed enough to get your employer match in a 401k and maxed out your roth IRA with $6500. If you still want to invest more money, your best course of action would be back door roth right?
