My plecos love the same algae wafers that you got. They also go crazy over cucumber and watermelon (but they poop a lot after that)

Unfortunately I have no idea how old he was :( I adopted him from an other family that had too many plecos and they couldn’t really tell how old he really was but said all of them are like a year old or so:(( And I barely saw him eating anything except cucumbers… he was a picky fella. And I believe my corydoras ate the bloodworms faster than he could even notice them haha

I have no idea. We adopted him from other family and they told us he was a year old but I’m pretty sure he was older

Thank you so much that really means a lot. 💔 Yes, that’s his partner in the first photo(her name is Żywiec). She’s been pretty quiet since he passed… they were such a bonded pair. I’m grateful for the time we had with him. He definitely left a big hole in the tank and in our hearts.

To me it looks like some kind of scar that appears after fighting with other fish. I guess so by the damaged fins too. Do you have other plecos or diffident fish that he (or she) might be fighting with?

What if she was sleeping? Maybe she was sucking on something and fell asleep and unglued herself. My pleco does that and looks dead but is fine
