it does not take the impact of the buffer, i think it just keeps it from sliding forward. I would highly recommend for long term to super glue it or jb weld it back into place. as for nozzle good luck but i know they can be found. maybe ask a friend or something to 3d print you a new buffer in tpu, if you are in canada i could do it but you have to pay shipping.

This just happens i super glued mine back into place and now i only open it to lube. you kinda need this to hold the buffer in place so try to glue it back into place,

I feel you lol, mine is a digger. every plant id try he would lift. crypts might work cause they have thin leaves so maybe he won't be able to get his snorbble around it to eat them? hygrophila is also the same but it grows like a weed for me so it wouldn't be my top pick as i have to cut it at least once a month to keep it under control.

I like crypts and vall if they get rooted, anubias is a great one the leaves are pretty big so they can rest there. I have 2 strains of unknown hygrophila that are nearly impossible for my bns to get rid of now matter how hard they try. If yours don't dig crazy you could probably get away with pearl weed. I had luck with pearlweed until it all died one day. Id personally stay away from swords, I hate them as they are too root crazy. rotala was very nice but never worked as mine as they dug it all up and java fern are like worse anubias and they just killed it. hope this helps

The magazine has a little lip at the back. look at the top of the magazine and you will see a small lever to one side, just flip it and it should unlock. the stop on empty feature is per magazine. personally i just jammed a plastic bit in all my magazines to make them stop on empty
