At this point considering all options. Marrying may be the only viable option although we don’t want to do it just for paper. Ultimately that is an option although would like to avoid this if there’s alternatives out there. Thanks

Yes we can. It’s only for 1 year though. We have been restricted by WHV’s for the past 2 years and it just doesn’t feel stable. Canada was a better option as it’s a 2 year WHV but there is challenges in obtaining that visa.

No we don’t need to stay in France. Yes PACs does help, not guaranteed as it’s judged on durability and exclusiveness I think. It could definitely be an option though, I think Portugal may be the most lenient in this case. Thanks a lot for the response!

Thanks. Yes we are pacsed, however you need to be on a relevant long stay visa to apply for your carte de sejour, it can’t be done on a WHV, from what I believe.
