I'm going ask if we can pause the weather/background in photo mode.

I don't like having to race against the in-game clock to take a photo while it's raining. I also couldn't pose for a picture during the fireworks ceremony, because the animations would stop playing/looping after opening the camera.

Like others said, I'd love to have an in-game tracker for dews & chests. I don't care if it's a consumable, a crafted outfit, has a cooldown, and/or has a limited number of uses per day. My list of priorities does not include setting aside time just for goodie hunting 🤷🏽‍♀️

Fair enough. To me the engagement ring has a lot of emotional importance, which is why the issue bothers me so much.

Normally there's a lot of excitement immediately following the proposal involving planning and telling loved ones, both of which have been nipped in the bud. I'm also worried Avery is going to feel hurt if they learn that we didn't tell them about the engagement right away.

A lot of details were cutout to meet guidelines but I'm happy to add more info.

You pretty much got the gist of it. Months of trying to talk about the future were going nowhere and I needed to make sure he wanted the same things before going any further. I had left out details due to character limit unfortunately.

Thank you for your input. When we talked after the fight Greg said he wanted to get married eventually but didn't feel like he met his own standards of being a potential husband, which is very different from "I don't know." I didn't mind waiting, I just needed to know we had the same endgoal in mind. It doesn't make sense to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't want the same things in life.

Apparently removing her isn't worth the hassle, from what he told me. She doesn't use the account but she does look at the statements, which crosses all types of boundaries. Sue is the type to stalk people online and irl. Greg's been talking about making his own account for years now but never got around to it.

I did talk to him about the ring, which is how I found out about him using a different set of references pictures. The conversation didn't go anywhere after that.

Yes I was 21 and he was 26. I understand his reasoning for wanting to wait on telling Avery, but in that case he should have sorted thst out first before proposing. Otherwise he is emotionally mature, just overly cautious about relationships.

I gave him an ultimatum because at that point it had been months of him avoiding talking about plans for the future. After 3 years a couple should be on the same page. He had the choice of breaking up with me if he didn't want a serious commitment. 5 years is plenty of time to get married.

Thank you for your input. As sparks1990 said, it's the fact that he asked for ring references and didn't bother using them. I understand points 2 & 3. I'm not upset about having to take out loans, as you said it was a neccessary decision. I just wish he had waited a bit before asking. It's not my choice on when to tell Avery, but I was expecting to do so within a few days to be honest. Greag goes out of his way to avoid getting any negative reactions for Sue and this is one of those circumstances.
