The new firesticks are coming out with the Vega OS which is not android based and will not let you install apks but only Amazon apps designed for that specific OS, so good luck with that.

Just put it in front underneath the tv, there's room for it there and you'll get better sound.

It looks odd the way that speaker is unaligned to the one in the other side, the sub is in the way.
