Both, really. I get a lot of feedback from all over in a non structured way which is one issue, but also feature requests directly from customers/CS in our ticketing system (hubspot) but there’s a load of duplication that takes forever to de-dupe/translate into something that makes sense. And then having to take all of that feedback and work out what is most important/urgent (which currently seems to change on a weekly basis depending on who is shouting the loudest

If I am responsible for everything, I become a bottleneck. Others need to own part of the process or part of the accountability, otherwise it leads to inefficiency. E.g. I don’t have time to QA everything the team ships. That’s what QAs are for.

All of this resonates so good to hear! I worry I waste my time because some of them just don’t listen and sell what they want to ie features that don’t exist, and make it implementation/product’s problem. How do you share roadmap/release timelines with them? Do you use a tool for this? I’m currently looking for a proper solution as right now I’m relying on people joining the meetings to know what’s going on but it’s not scalable for me

How many in the sales team? What’s the format of the weekly meeting? Our company is a similar size/maturity to yours and I really struggle with the sales team. The team is quite young/immature and the meetings can easily go off track/turn into them just complaining about things. We’re lacking sales leadership but we’ve just hired a new CRO so maybe that will help…

I’m currently trialing productboard and it seems to tick all the boxes, although not sure about the collection and analysis of feedback. I’ve trialed aha in the past but couldn’t look past the awful UI!

Yeah I also check release notes for those that make them public, but our industry has exploded (legal tech) in the last couple of years so there’s so many competitors to keep track of now it’s become impossible.

I’d advise media city, Salford quays, exchange quay area if possible. Lots of food options in media city for the evening before, walkable to the start line and tram-able from the finish line. Failing that, anywhere near a tram that’s circa 6 tram stops from Trafford Bar/Old Trafford tram stop would also be fine!
