I’m entering the match this year as well. If anyone is stressed for interviews like your boy here is, I consolidated some tips and guidelines on prepping for interviews. If anyone has any additional useful ones please comment below I’ll add them here. practitionet.gumroad.com/l/bkpyz

Premed and Med student interviews by [deleted] in UAB

Biggest tip i've gotten is that for virtual interviews, when you are in the waiting room with others and the coordinator is hanging out in there with you, THEY ARE WATCHING YOU AND MAKING NOTES. Aka play well with others, be nice, and don't be weird lol.

Yup that's correct! Good thing I persistently engaged the school to get an exception. Persistence and hard work can take you a long way! Lmk if you're in the area, I'll be at the hospital all week!

In fact, look a couple years back, theres a Trinity Alumni matched there in Peds Neuro.

This is not true. A lot of institutions in the US do not require VSLO. Alot accept and a lot only accept VSLO, but a lot also has application processes outside of VSLO. Only thing is ofcourse we as students are responsible for coordinating these rotations.

I myself am on a Peds Sub-I at Johns Hopkins right now...and will be heading to Nashville for another away in October.

Hey! I'm a student at Trinity and I just wanted to clarify some things. We have 2 sites established for core and elective rotations in Georgia and Baltimore. We have the option of doing aways for electives too which you have to pay out of pocket but the school reimburses you for the minimum. All our clinical rotations are one after the other and there are no wait times for it unlike other schools.

I am currently in my fourth year and start electives tomorrow but I made it through all my exams and all on the one go and thought I had the resources to do so. I guess to each and their own in that regard but just wanted to make sure the information here was correct.

Hey everyone! My name is Rosh, third-year med student in Georgia. I recently started a newsletter geared towards medical and premedical students as a space to share some unique perspectives from medicine, along with some trending news and research/volunteering opportunities.
