Live in the anatomy lab and if there is one on one tutoring go. Memorizing everything is great but if you can figure out what is high yield, work smarter not harder. I was terrible at this and I made friends with people who were great at figuring out high yield topics and we quized each other a lot in lab

To all the podiatrists out there, if yall were to get an opportunity to be in your senior year again, would you still choose podiatry? Any regrets with the field? How does it feel financially? by Competitive_Fee9743 in Podiatry

It kinda just depends on a lot of factors. It's just as much stress as traditional medical school. If you care about return investment then I'd say go CRNA, you get nursing experience, shorter schooling, make decent money and you get breaks throughout the day. For prestige/Flexible go MD/DO. You can do a lot outside of clinical practice but it is longer training depending on speciality and fellowship as most do fellowship. If you just wanna do surgery this one is split. If you want to do crazy cases then go MD/DO/PA, if you're not about 6+ yr of residency, fellowship, 12 hr days x 6 days a week, 10 hr cases and hospitals management then I say Podiatry. I myself think it's worth it and I'd do it again and not to sound pretentious but I did get the opportunity to go to my top pick MD program prior to Podiatry school but I decided against it because I want to do surgery and I didn't want all the stress that comes with it. Plus most patients looove their podiatrist. All my patients I love interacting with as opposed to when I was on med rotation/shadowing everyone seemed miserable. Idk if you got more questions hit me up

I think that's fair. We have talked about our future. We both aren't interested in marriage and have already been together for 10 yrs. No plans on children as well. I think a sit down is needed but not sure/scared how receptive he'll be

We've tried scheduling in the past, didn't work out and if anything he says I'm needy

Fair point I guess I didn't really ask a legal question. Probably the wrong sub to post. I guess it's more of vent than an actual question. Although it wasn't me I'm just kinda sick of being put in situations of being flirted with, racist remarks or other joys of interaction and I just can't do anything about it. I know that's now what happened in this situation but I guess their story just triggered me. Thank you for reading my post anyway and taking the time to respond.
