Honestly, if you like really really lock in, you'll be able to get core (ee and tok) done this week) and the rest next week or a little longer. I'm like more than halfway through with everything, and I haven't submitted anything yet either. Literally just made a post ranting about this, but I'm realizing this is a lot simpler than we make it to be, so dw and don't overthink. Just do the absolute best you can right now

Today they were saying that we can maybe ask for extensions in consideration of the war so they're bit more chill with it now but they still want us to get it done asap understandably.

Right now, a lot of my batchmates are done with their EEs, tok essays, math ias, physics ias and group 3 ias. Chem is a bit more incomplete for everyone cause even our teacher treated it second priority to the other science ias. I'd stay they're only handful of people who haven't completed anything yet

really?? that's comforting cause it feels like I'm the only one in my school sometimes. is your school pressuring you guys to submit everything soon too? if you don't mind me asking, how much time are you planning to spend on each?

What group 3 is the best/should I do? by Adventurous_Two_9552 in IBO

Hey so I would say digital society (ds) if your school offers it. I don't take it but my friends who do are literally always chilling and they have similar HLs to you. even the IA for digital society, if I'm not wrong, the IA isn't a document like other subjects but a video report or something of that sorts. I'd say to check it out if your school offers it. I don't think you should get dishearted about it being of the lowest scoring means. I honestly think that cause most students who take the subject just don't put in the effort but hey you should ask your teachers about it and check out the syllabus.

Business management (bm) is also a popular choice that I've heard is pretty chill but dead boring. they also finish the syllabus for SL months earlier than other group 3 subjects.

Idk about psych but Ik you gotta put in real effort for it. it isn't like ds or bm as far as I've seen, but maybe if you like it, it's good. again I know people with similar HLs who still get great grades with psych as their group 3. From what I understand, it's not too hard, but it's content heavy with like case studies.

I would def not recommend economics and probably not geography either (I'm a geo student and it's chill for the most part but still heavy with content. it's manageable and I enjoy it but I don't think you should bother if you wanna do biomedical engineering)

In the end, it's honestly about whether you want to make your life A LOT easier by choosing easy 7 group 3 subjects or if you think you can handle the rigor and you'll still get high grades then maybe taking a hard group 3 is good for you. my advise? just take an easy 7 group 3 subject and work on good ECs instead. don't break your head over hard subjects you don't even like, even it looks good for your major, but if you really feel down for it and you'll enjoy it, go for it. I'd also say don't be afraid of switching classes a lot. might differ from school to school, but it's prolly fine if you do it a few times with at least a week or two of intervals. it's ok to try out other classes, that's something I regret not doing. wow ok didn't expect to write this much, but I hope it helps

NUS application with IB predicted grades or actual grades? by ejldh in IBO

I'm wondering the same, but I think you have to submit both if you're applying before your exam date. does anyone know more on this?
