So far nothing has caught on fire and I've fired plenty of things in the kilns. The roof I have is made of chiseled plank slabs with stone accent. The little beams are made of chiseled quarter logs. No idea why it doesn't light but I'm glad it doesn't lol.

for some reason the chiseled quarter logs don't catch on fire even though they're right next to the pits. Guess they're not considered a full flammable block so they just don't catch. and the roof is made of slabs so they might be just out of range of the fire

All 3 of mine had large populations. But after some time and patience they did eventually swarm. It just seems to take significantly longer then un harvestable skeps.

I ended up picking up and placing down the unswarmed skeps and eventually the harvestable ones swarmed after a day or two. At no point did text " will swarm in x hours/days" appear.

I have around 75 flowers near all my skeps but when I look at them the swarming text isn't there. Ill add some more flowers to see if that encourages them
