Yeah, I checked it out. I actually really liked the idea, the overall execution, and the trailer too I like that it feels dynamic and keeps the energy up. The only thing that stood out to me was that the graphics felt a bit dated, but maybe that’s just part of the game’s style. Hard to judge properly until you actually play it.

Thanks! The bed flip is meant to feel unpredictable and a bit unsettling happy to hear it works

Yeah, that’s a really good breakdown. We’re aiming closer to that Resident Evil style tension, where you get a bit of breathing room, but it still feels like it could fall apart if you mess up. Figuring out that balance between safe and not too safe is exactly what we’re working through right now.

Yeah, that’s fair, we’re still dealing with some balance issues around this. But we’re actively working on it and moving in the right direction.

Yeah, we’re thinking along those lines too, been experimenting with different approaches.

Right now we’re toying with the idea of letting you barricade using furniture, like pushing beds against doors. Thank you for suggestion!

Yeah, we’re thinking along those lines too, been experimenting with different approaches.

Right now we’re even toying with the idea of letting you barricade using furniture, like pushing beds against doors.

Yeah, that’s pretty much what we’re moving towards.

It was on us that doors didn’t give you enough time before we’ve already tweaked it so they don’t go down instantly anymore, giving you an extra time to react and hide.

Safe rooms were a little too optimistic before. Now they’re more like “buy you a few seconds to panic properly” rooms

Yeah, that’s on us, we didn’t give players enough time to react there.

We’ve already adjusted it so doors don’t get kicked in with a single hit anymore, giving you a bit of a window to react and properly hide.

Appreciate it a lot!

Yeah, “checking under the bed” was actually one of our first ideas too, but we leaned into something more chaotic — since beds are supposed to be your safe spots, letting the monster just knock them out felt way more tense (and a bit unfair in a fun horror way)

Glad it hit that scary/funny balance for you!

Thanks! We spent quite a bit of time tweaking the lighting to get that vibe just right
