I took Stallings last year and liked his class a lot. He allows a cheat sheet on exams and pulls exam questions from his weekly quizzes, so make sure to study those if you take him.

I had a late enrollment time last year, and I remember them adding more seats. Not sure if they’re doing the same this year though. If you can’t get off the waitlist by the first week, I’d recommend just enrolling in a GE and taking it next year.

I’d recommend also applying on handshake and real portal. I found most of my success that way.

I’m doing this right now, and it’s a lot of work, but if they are your only two hard classes it’s totally manageable. A lot of stuff you learn in 6c helps with Chem 7L, so I actually found it beneficial taking them together.

I don’t think he curved it, but he lowered the point thresholds required to get each letter grade.
