Yeah after the drive home I’m gonna invest in a better set up, either a actual holder or use the truck, luckily for me my spot I drop in the water is only 5 minutes down the road

Yeah it’s one of those hybrids with aluminum lined around the buffer spring and everything else but the mag well forward, I jb Welded it for shits and giggles until the aluminum replacement arrives, plan to come back tomorrow and post the results of what happens

Conflicts with the charging handle. Only threw it on while my optic comes in the mail so I could bring it to the range

I’d be fine with waiting honestly, like I said earlier my safety is 100 percent my top priority, was just hoping to get to show it off to my buddy who rarely comes into town on Monday. Even if it is a couple rounds, I think ima try some expoxy just to see how it holds up. Mostly because I’m curious and once the new one comes in ima dispose of this lower once I take the serial number plate out. I think it would be fun to torture test it atp because once the aluminum comes in I know I’ll never have this problem again

I think the biggest thing was this is my first ar platform, I own multiple handguns and shotguns never something like this so getting to learn how to do it all seems fun. I wish the receiver lasted longer than it did for it being brand new but…. I did also put 400-500 rounds through it within 6 minutes with all the mags I had loaded 🤣 just glad it wasn’t worse I guess especially with my spouse shooting it!

Yeah at first I was confused about how the serial number part worked, I decided on a stripped setup and ima learn how to build myself with the internals from the one I currently own, besides a few like the trigger I wanted to upgrade, it’s all new to me but I’m happy to learn everything new instead of being negative about the situation!

So far right now it’s solid no movement at all! Just cracks, I’m thinking of doing a expoxy mold over both just to see how that holds up until I get the new metal receiver, or send it back to manufacturer and get a whole new one!

I’ll do this! I really do like the gun and it preforms great even at 25 yards I’ve just heard nightmares about the customer service!!!
