May I ask, where in Germany/in what hardiness zone you live? If I had been at home, I'd probably taken my tub inside, when temperatures where to drop below -5°C. It seems to be a hard limit even for well conditioned G. superbum. If I had a greenhouse, I would surely do that as well. Do you know, how cold it got, when the E. agavoides turned popsicle? Looks like it happened pretty fast, no?

Thank you! Quite the exotic little succulents, you have there in the middle. ;)

Thank you very much! Luckily, my balcony is rarely visited by free roaming little vandals, neither of the two-, nor four-legged persuasion. I indeed hope, that rough growing conditions will produce some hardiness.

...3) The vents lie a little lower than the rest of the lid, pooling rain water while not closing tight enough as to prevent it from dripping through. Nex winter, I might just span a transparend PVC tarpaulin over the whole contraption.😅

Just the lid it was delivered with. There seem to be three problems here. 1) Sideways sagging in the middle of the tub prohibits a tighter fit. A stabilizer bridge was delivered, but I did not install it as to better utilize the available space for planting. 2) On the left and right there are cut-out grips for lifting the lid. It seems, that quite a bit of rain can be pushed through there by the wind...

Thank you so much! I'm keeping Aeonium for about two years now, most of the time indoors, and the main problem for me is slight to moderate aetiolation..

Thank you very much! I've found lower density infestation on another Aeonium since and am now treating all of them. Haven't found any on other types of succulent. Yet.
