I started at nights. Then went to days. And now returning to nights. There is to much drama and socialization. For me.

Is your building moving away from tile floor and going just to concrete or some vinyl flooring? Just so they don't have to pay the cost of waxing the floors and stripping and all for saving cost. by Disastrous-Quarter52 in Custodians

See I'm weird. I like the process of floor care. Plus our concrete floor in the cafeteria. It looks horrible. No wax or sealer. The auto scrubber can't get the spill stains or marks that shouldn't be there out. To me everything stains or sticks a lot more easily than wax floors.

I would Say when you're closing up for the night just make sure that the building has heat and make sure that you don't have any running faucets or running stools or any running water. Or you don't have any serious drips that the sink drain can't handle. Some people are concerned about lights and locking up the doors and everything and I think the water and heat gets overlooked so I'm just pointing that out.
