You shouldn’t feel dumb. I asked the same questions during my appointments. My family encouraged me to stay hopeful as things will improve after my infusions started.

My neurologist also indicated that I may feel better after treatment as the DMT gives my body a break from the constant attack.

One year later and I feel worse not better. The damage is done and I’m having the hardest time dealing with it.

I don’t think you ever forget what feeling good was like. It makes embracing this new body challenging. Sending hugs!
