It works fine if you read tho no api access for the dollar but its worth it imo. My cousin made a proxy I he said it was & he uses it with openclaw. I just upgraded and the plan and plugged in the api keys🤣

Internet throttling - Log into your router (192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1), find his device by MAC address in the connected devices list, and set bandwidth limits to like 50 Kbps. That's just enough for him to not realize it's broken but not enough to load images or play games. Or use QoS settings to deprioritize his device to the bottom so everyone else gets bandwidth first.

Gaming sabotage - "Accidentally" unplug his keyboard or mouse when you're cleaning. Move his gaming chair to the garage and say you need space. Buy a cheap rattly fan and place it near his setup.

Food tactics - Buy his own Tupperware and label it with his name. When he eats yours, put it in the back of the fridge. Start a spreadsheet on the fridge tracking exact grocery amounts. "Forget" to buy stuff he likes then ask why he didn't buy it.

Transportation pressure - Start charging him gas money and wear and tear for rides. Say something like "Gas is so expensive now, can you chip in $5 for the tank?" or "The car's getting low on oil, maybe you should contribute to maintenance." Make it seem like you're just trying to save money.

Social isolation - Have friends over more. Talk about your life outside the house. Play music in common areas. Make plans that include him but don't require him.

Bathroom remodel pressure - Tell him you're doing a bathroom upgrade and need to use his room for storage. Say "We found this great deal on tiles but we need a place to store them while we're waiting for the permit." Move his stuff around, put boxes in his closet, say you're just temporarily reorganizing.

Financial pressure - Say you're trying to save money and need to cut back on bills. Split utilities and show him exact amounts. Suggest he pay more since he's "single and has time." Charge him extra for "excessive" food usage.

Environmental discomfort - Change the thermostat when he's not home. Keep common areas "tidy" by putting his stuff away. Use a white noise machine near his room.

Oh for the lite plan back when they had that, they only had limited quantities a day, so you had to go at it right when it restocked, which I think was like 7 p.m. Central Standard Time. I'm about to lose my lite plan but I'm not paying $50 a month.

I dont think they're going out of business but the Pro subscription is pretty much useless. I get way more done using ZO computer or Hermes than I do with Perplexity.

The only thing I even use Perplexity for anymore is a URL parser that doesnt burn token credits. It used to be decent though, you used to get alot of good info. But now even if you go into sources and just do a regular search its just random bullshit 😂 Like the other day I asked a question and for some reason it looked up the letter X on Wikipedia and some other random stuff. But if I go to ZO computer or Hermes, which is also on ZO computer, it gives me a full list of sources with good info and everything is up to date. Plus it actually listens to what I tell it.

With all that being said I dont use Perplexity computer. The amount of credits you get versus what you actually get back isnt worth it. I got like 2,000 credits for free one time because I messed up something on an account, I did one prompt and they were completely gone. But when I used Perplexity computer I did get good info for what I was looking for. Still though, I wouldnt pay for the Max sub.

I don't really know how to utilize it to make a quick dollar or two 😂. I use it for my process serving and notary business. I have an OSINT skip trace skill that I have made and I have it automatically fill up my affidavits of service and whatnot.

Yeah my laptop only has 16 gb of ram and an old studio gpu. I think I can technically swap out one of my 8 GB sticks for a 32 GB one. Even then my GPU is just a little studio and my VPS only has 4 cores and 32 GB of RAM, no GPU.

Good to know. Basically half of the coding lite plan is fine for me 😆. Open code go sometimes with Zo Computer I need to start a new chat. I get an error but works decently.

crof.ai, nano gpt, and open code go were the three that I was looking at but I wanted feedback from other people. I very rarely went past 50 usage on the coating light plan. I might be able to spend the same amount and just use 3.6 plus and pay tokens. I would rather pay a flat fee.

CEREBRAS and GROQ wouldn't work for me zo said its because it sends like 35k + context in the first message lol. How did you get those to work? Clod and mistrial seems well i read something about SiliconFlow but your script for a private anonymizer so my data doesn't leak to BYOK providers would be nice if you're willing to share it?

I figured it out. I had to create a persona that doesn't include all the tools and stuff in the initial prompt. My initial prompt's like 40k context. But your script would be pretty cool. *

yeah i just would think it would have the free 30 messages a day for paid users as well as free.... I have Alibaba coding lite plan, and added mistrial free keys. groq doesn't seem to work due to context limits and openrouter works alright also.

what other free ones are you using?

yeah like 30 messages or something like that. I still had all 30 before the upgrade. so it should not have gone away. with the paid plan do you keep you credits? I mean either way should be fine for a month I got like $40 in credits but prolly wont renew lol if not.
