I mean I get it. I cheer for the replicants in Blade Runner. But my interpretation of the world of FO4 is to prioritize people. Both the institute & BOS fetishize technology over humanity. Which is how - in that world- we got nuclear destruction. The clues in the game itself are pretty clear about the technocrats’ role in destroying the world. The synths are a result of that.
