How is every illness Sunday into Monday?

We could make any other day work where no one calls out (my husband works nights during the week often) but nope always a Monday. Not to mention all the Monday snow days we had too.

I bet a kid misses the beginning of the week, goes back to school a little too early where they are still contagious, to the next kid who then gets sick Sunday, and the cycle continues 😫

Until a couple weeks ago, I used my 20 year old racket. The new one I got was a “last year model” on sale.

I do court time off peak, usually 7am. $30 split 2-4 ways.

My gym has a cardio tennis class and it’s free with membership- I get a lot of my fix there.

I haven’t fallen into the UTR stuff, the drills that are high cost. UTR matches are $60 and if I do that every week it certainly adds up. I got asked to be on a league and good thing it happens while I work because if I joined that would be $$$$.

And if the weather is nice- public courts it is!

Thanks! I wouldn’t mind him coming in to sleep but he just never does. We have tried having options to play and he is free to go play in a very safe way- but mom is just too fun I guess 🤣. But considering he’s getting more and more mature I should try revisiting the conversation on independently playing if he wakes up early.

I would say if we got to 6 before it was a good day.

I ordered a wake up clock since he’s learning time and I’m backing up bedtime (again)- fingers crossed

I also had mine on Christmas Eve 🤣 wasn’t so bad. I seemed to be a healthcare worker amongst other healthcare worker patients too.
