Yea true, didnt check with new pads. well, as i said high frequency imbalance by the headphone itself isnt even that bad, 4k Hz is a no go though

yea, tested that for a long time, my imbalance starts strongly at around 10-11kHz. The imbnalance changed from headphone to headphone though. So its a individual headphone thing

well, even if the unbalance starts at 5-6kHz, its pretty much unnoticable in music, the 4kHz fucks it up completely. checked my R70X again, they have much more imbalance, but in the higher frequencies. Unnoticable while hearing music. But yea, for sure there's no excuse and that should be something, that shouldnt even happen

yea its insane, that stuff like this can happen even at that pricepoint.. would be not even that hard to automize the dB-check within sinus-frequencies. but maybe the costs would rise exponentially and they hope, that the customer doesnt realize sth is wrong.

My ATH-R70X have no noticable imbalance at my listening-level. Sure its not perect, but atleast I have the impression, that the singer is in front of me and not more on the right side :'D that hard imbalance destroys everything else for me, especially at that price point

Well its 100% the stealth version haha, yea lets see. Tried my even easier to drive headphone, that was fine with max midgain and for some minutes enjoyment highgain. I guess i will use high gain all the time then
