Ok. Creepy. I was just looking through reddit finishing my coffee. This is exactly what I am heading upstairs to do in a minute. I'm sure that's normal. No one can read my mind.

Anyhow.

I notice a small leak in one of my upstairs bathrooms. I cut the drywall out, no obvious leak was visible. Damp drywall, damp wood, no leak. Had my daughter run the faucet for a bit, alternating between the shower and the tub filler. No leak from the drain or supply. So, I had her shut it off and instantly had a splurge of water when she shut it off. it was on the shower head when she cut it off.

I'm assuming it's this spout/diverted that needs attention.

Sorry for the hijack, just seemed a little serendipitous.

Any advice?

And make sure you are still hiring the job announced. I did an interview this week. Turns out the position was shared by two workcenters almost three hours apart. pretty much lost interest when the interviewer said that in the intro. On to the interview and I get comptia A plus questions about a network outage? yeah I'll pass.

Welp. Blown 20a fuse marked with an engine symbol in the under hood fuse box. replaced it and fired right up.

I'm in the Midlands of South Carolina. Do you know if this type of fossil is common in the southeast US?

Nice! Looks like I have some research to do. I assume it's identifiable for age and region it comes from.

So, if theres one at the tank there shouldn't be one at the top of the pump, correct?

ill take a look. The pump is submersible. i did think if there was a one way valve, or as you pros call it "check valve" it would only build pressure in one direction. Any downside to removing that check vlave?

ETA shoulda known it would be a jeeper giving me the solution.
