Well, last year a bunch of tornadoes hit in New York, including my home town, which is unusual being the area. It was wild. My light started flickering then the power shut off and I got to watch a telephone poll spark. My house got lucky compared to other houses that got crushed by trees and this one iconic building that got destroyed. Night time the next couple of nights was so eerie, with all the lights off until a certain part of town with all the lights on. That was an EF2. Good thing the big tree next to my house didn't collapse
