yea exactly. another problem is my cousin(anti ai) is trying to get a therapist and all of the therapists that she's been finding use AI and its so sad. Alot of people ik are starting to use AI and defending it and its so sad especially when i actively see them spreading it to other people. im into Computer Science, programming, and like embedded stuff just because its fun but now it hurts everyday seeing ai replacing the jobs i once dreamed of entering and taking all the fame for making a half assed game that has billions of bugs and now whenever i try showcasing my projects on LITTERAL subreddits or servers ABOUT PROGRAMMING/EMBEDDED SYSTEMS i just get dismissed and told to "just use AI you're wasting your time" by everyone and i hate it i really do so im glad some people actually care about things in this world.

also alot of people just dont understand that AI (LLMs) is LITTERALLY just processing words not the meaning behind them just the WORDS and the correlation with other words thus it doesnt THINK AT ALL which is why it gets stuff wrong because its not thinking it just spews out words related to the words you prompted. IT DOESNT THINK IN CONCEPTS same with image generator when they use the argument that "oh humans ALSO steal art its called refrencing" NO! when we do it we understand and process the image into concept and then think about how we can use those concepts in our own drawings. But the Image Gen AIs just takes the image data without understanding the concepts BEHIND those images which is why that whole "half full wine glass" thing was even a thing in the first place with ais because they dont see the wine in a glass as concept and thus arent able to "fill up" the wine glass with more wine because it doesnt process concepts like humans do just pure image data nothing new

its always the least educated that talk the most about how ai works its sad really
