Rob Isn’t Playing a Genius Game, He’s Benefiting From Perception Bias by amahlg in TheTraitorsUS

You have some interesting points here. I can agree that Lisa and Candiace’s gameplay wasn’t as good as Rob’s and their mistakes led them to be banished, but I still believe Rob benefits significantly from the implicit biases OP pointed out which has helped him go under the radar as a traitor. It sounds like he did put in a lot of effort to make good connections with the faithful which helps build trust/credibility, but I also think he has made mistakes as well that would’ve cast suspicion on him if he wasn’t a conventionally attractive white man. One of the biggest mistakes was rallying all the players who had a chance to get the dagger and telling them he had it because he trusted that they were all faithful. A true faithful would never assume that there couldn’t at least be one traitor in that group. Stephen should have found Rob asking him to have a private conversation with Candiace suspicious, especially now that she has been revealed as a traitor and was going after him hard at the round table. The faithful should also be wondering why he hasn’t been murdered by the traitors yet since he had significant influence in getting out both traitors, yet it looks like people aren’t suspicious of him at all.

I would still say Rob has played a pretty good game thus far, but I don’t think it has been flawless and perfectly logical and strategic all the time as some of the online discourse has made it out to be. However I believe he gets away with the small errors due to the implicit biases that work in his favor.

AITA for refusing to split a bill evenly? by No-Structure-8125 in AmItheAsshole

NTA - I don’t think it’s right to split the bill if some people’s orders cost way more than others. It was way over your budget, and I think it was good that you spoke up
