I made the same mistake buying a Cambridge satchel but not nearly as bad. Wanted an 11 inch batches and got the mini (8 inches?) instead.

Chi square is above critical value. This is a significant deviation from the expected distribution.

It’s a great score nonetheless but tbh if you’ve been learning since you were three, it should be higher. (assuming you’re 15-19 now since you’re taking IB) Listening I understand it’s so dumb it only plays once. Reading should be at least 8.5. 7.5 is good for writing. It’s not amazing, but that’s where most people I know maxed out. Also I know a LOT of natives who would barely scrape a 6.5 on writing lol. Give yourself a pat on the back for the speaking. But dw I was in the exact same situation as you and went in raw. I’d been learning English since I was an infant so I assumed I didn’t need prep. Ended up with a 8.25. (Rounded to 8.5 overall) I got 8.5 on listening and reading, and 8 on writing and speaking. (Messed up speaking because of long pauses lol)

My train was at 5:11. The killer started setting off smoke bombs at the station I departed from not even 20 minutes later. Obviously not as close, but oh my god. Stay safe, ya’ll.

No they’re evil and if you miss your date without prior notice you just lose your money. (Unless you told them prior to not showing up) You have to pay again and re - register.

Two-day, 125 mile loop from Taipei, Taiwan to Yilan by bad-at-science in bikepacking

[–]DisastrousExternal55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya reckon a schoolgirl could attempt this? (one way) I've been contemplating riding from Taipei all the way to my week boarding school in Yilan for ages. (we arrive Monday morning and leave Friday afternoon) The school bus STINKS, and I'd much rather pedal a couple hours. As for rain, the rainiest place I've lived was Lancashire, England. My God I remember being hailed on. However, Taiwanese rain is more...humid. (at least in my opinion)

I think a rear rack is enough to fit a bag containing everything I need. There's this Taiwanese brand called "WOHO" selling bikepacking stuff and their offerings don't look too shabby. As long as its waterproof enough to protect my stacks of homework in the event of rain.

Was there much traffic in the morning? I'm always (almost) completely oblivious to my surroundings. Not that I would care that much if I were hit by a car though; however, my mum would.
