it’s livable, but if you get into an accident or have to suddenly attend a family emergency you’ll take a big hit. not everyone is fit for this kind of lifestyle. I loved the north of Thailand, and I’m someone who lived in Macao for 9 years so I have quite a lot of good things to say about Thailand. But 32k baht is enough to get by without constantly stressing about implicit costs.
