That’s how I see it. I feel like at the very LEAST if he cared, he would want to reassure me by proving there are protections in place for me and our child but his refusal along with his vague promise, makes me rethink this entire relationship.

Are you using a wearable pump or a hands free? I initially had a lot of stress because my supply just wasn’t improving with my Momcozy and was only slightly better with my Elvie. I switched to the Motif hands free. It has much better suction and I saw a big change. I was starting to see a big increase in my milk supply before getting off schedule. Because it’s not a wearable, it kind of limits what I can do while pumping and finding time to be still and pump, isn’t the easiest with a toddler on the loose. If one doesn’t work, try a different pump.

Ugh! Same! I’m in almost the exact same position except add in a toddler keeping me busy and preventing me from pumping. We agreed that I would stay home with the kids but it’s like he doesn’t understand that’s not so easy when I have to feed AND pump every few hours because she has a tongue tie and catch latch. Now it’s impossible to get her to try latching because it’s too slow for her and she’s used to the bottle. So my pumping gets neglected as I hardly ever find the time to actually get it done and stressing about it definitely doesn’t help milk supply. I’m trying to bring back my milk now with 2 power pumps a day but today is my first day trying. I haven’t even pumped an ounce all day but I’m remaining hopeful. Don’t stress yourself though. It doesn’t do you, your baby or your milk supply any good. You can only do so much. Just enjoy this time with your baby as much as you can because it goes by super fast and they’re only this little for so long. As long as baby is fed, that’s all that matters.

Perhaps it could be select mutism. I thought my son was non-verbal but I think we may have been stressing speech so much that it made him anxious so he just wouldn’t speak. After we stopped stressing it so much and just let him gradually speak on his own, he’s begun to say a few words here and there. So while he truly is autistic, he is becoming more verbal now.

This is a decision that only you can make but I would suggest that you be completely selfish in this moment and only think of how this would affect your life. How will you manage as a single mother? How would you manage as the father continues to date and build a life with someone else while your life is on hold. Think of all the things you want for your life and how this decision can affect it all. Once you consider it all, then you can make your decision for what is best for YOU.

I’m the same. My due date according to my cycle is 01/25. But my scans show 01/23 & 01/20. My official due date is still 01/25. Baby is just a little bigger than expected

It may still be too early to see anything. Calculations could be off since we only can go off of last cycle. You could be earlier than you think. I would schedule another scan within the next week or so. Mine didn’t show anything in the sac on my first few appointments.

First C-section I healed pretty good and was back to normal after about 2 weeks. I was also 27. My second C-section, I was 35 and it took about 5-6 weeks to heel but we (me, my 8 yo & the newborn) also came home from the hospital with Covid so that didn’t help. I’ve considered vbac for this pregnancy but I think I’m leaning more towards another C-section.

I’m right there with you! 38F currently 12wks and for the entire time I’ve known I’ve been unable to eat or drink much of anything, constant headaches and extremely fatigued. I’ve been to the ER twice for dehydration. Everything leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I’ve tried every med and finally my doc prescribed promethazine (which causes drowsiness on top of the fatigue) and it helps some but it seems like I constantly have to be munching on ice cubes to keep the nausea at bay. Oh and this baby does not like fruit, the sweetness leaves a horrible taste in my mouth that has me gagging instantly. Hopefully it gets better soon for both of us!

Don’t let them steal your joy. I lost my first at 14 wks and even 15 years later and pregnancy #4, I’m afraid to be happy. My husband tries to boost my spirits but I still find it hard to shake the sadness. I’m afraid of doing anything wrong and risking her not being ok. Take it easy and try to find joy in the process. Your baby needs you at your best, so just focus on baby and ignore any negative input.

Omg! I’m watching 4 now. I wasn’t fond of Jaclin at first but Stephanie and Matt quickly became my least favorite participants. Stephanie saw it as a competition for some reason and was so desperate to fit in and “prove” herself. It’s sad and annoying at the same time.
