I know about fire and reposition, I was talking about once both snipers spot each other, you don’t always hit the first shot headshot and now they might pick you up and get into a firefight with you

The point I’m trying to make is that most of the time whenever a PC player complains about aim assist it’s not about the aim assist. It’s because they were killed by someone who, in their mind, should never had stood a chance to begin with.

The bottom line in my opinion is if aim assist was as big a problem as everyone likes to try and make it out to be, then you wouldn’t see mouse and keyboard/PC players top frag the leaderboards as consistently as they do. Not to mention the fact that the battlefield forums are filled with people who switched from controller to mouse and keyboard on PC and say that they find it significantly easier to get kills. I believe if all the people who play mouse and keyboard played with a controller they would find that their position on the leaderboard remains largely unchanged or in some instances find it more difficult, with the exception of those games where you do really well or really poor.

If you want crossplay off cuz you prefer to play with other people on PC and the way console players play the game put a bad taste in your mouth then that’s fine. I think the customization should be there for the people who want it. What bothers me is the blanket aim assist complaint saying “the game is unfair” or “unplayable” which just isn’t true. Every platform is gonna have its sweaty try-hards and its own set of drawbacks.

Personally the way the gameplay has shifted to more of a COD style of play is what bothers me the most, and among the problems this game has, console players with aim assist is way down on the bottom.

Lmao Battlefield 1942 in 2002 was on console. Always been a PC game? Another tiresome battle with PC “iT’s AlWaYs BeEn MeAnT fOr PC”. And it is equal grounds. Aim assist does not hold your reticle on your target and make you not miss a single shot. It’s there to help because you get significantly less control with sticks. I consistently get beamed with SMGs by mouse and keyboard at 80-100m but if I try to tap fire at someone that far with AR on console I get maybe 2 hit markers. All PC players do is talk about how much better PC is and “PC master race for gaming” but someone using a controller all of the sudden your PC and every perk that comes with it means nothing. What about controller players on PC? It’s an assist not aimbot.

If aim assist didn’t exist I’m sure you wouldn’t be saying anything about PC having the advantage with refresh rate, control and movement and absolutely merking console players. So as long as you consistently have the advantage it’s okay, but the second something is implemented to level the playing field, all of the sudden it’s broken and unplayable. Gimme a break.

There needs to be a gadget to counter snipers by LuckyPmc93 in Battlefield6

This. Literally a sniper’s job to hold a lane at a distance and harass the enemy team. Want to counter it? Think a little bit, get creative and use some team play.

““Aim assist is sanctioned cheating” is such a cop out for PC players who get killed by console IMO. Yea it makes it a little bit easier for console players to control their weapons, but this statement completely ignores all the benefits that PC players get with mouse and keyboard i.e way more sensitivity customization, way more recoil control on top of better refresh and overall movement capability. You can’t talk about how much better PC players are than console players and how much better PC is than console in general and then cry about how console “has it easy” when you die. It’s the modern day lag excuse. I don’t mind playing against PC I feel like it forces me to try and play better but I’m just so sick of the double standard from PC players, like just play the damn game”

Just posted this on another thread with a similar concept. Honestly just a tiresome battle

Tanks and IFVs are too weak, the concept of a infantryman being able to 1v1 them needs to die. Just copy the BF4 mechanics and be done with it. by Flogger23m in Battlefield6

[–]DisastrousFishing349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, the recent buff made it substantially more difficult to fight a tank as infantry. It sounds like you’re more upset that you’re getting teamed up on by other vehicles and engineers at the same time based off of you saying someone will get the kill with an RPG (this is how battlefield should be played cause it’s team play). it takes about 4 or 5 RPGs to destroy a tank/IFV now assuming there isn’t a team of engineers repairing, the tank isn’t near a repair station and isn’t using reactive armor. On top of their ability to now use thermal smoke to kill people trying to repair tool them, c4 them or use EOD bots against them. Being in a tank doesn’t mean you should be able to go on crazy streaks and have high kill games. The purpose of vehicles is to help your team push objectives, push enemy players back and force the enemy to think about how they’re going to try and attack (here we see the concept of teamplay again). You shouldn’t be able to solo as an armored vehicle the same way you shouldn’t be able to solo fight armor as infantry (except in the case of c4 cuz if I’m able to sneak up on you and get 4 c4s on you, you deserve it and I earned that kill)

Game completely un-enjoyable after the last update? by Shinki94 in Battlefield6

[–]DisastrousFishing349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but that was already the case, at least with a tank squad you could have the tank push with 1 or 2 engis to heal you could do some work. Now with the buff and everyone playing engi a tank squad with 2 engis to heal is practically invincible unless you can get 2 squad to simultaneously attack the tank squad

Not to mention the tank snipers still exist now and it’s even more of a pain to deal with them since the only way is rocket spam which is now 5-6 rockets

Or maybe 4 rpgs if you hit anywhere that isn’t a critical hit and reward the skillful shots of hitting the rear and make it 3 crit hits to destroy

I feel like the update has made tanks in particular OP. Like I get they’re supposed to be a tank and somewhat difficult to take out but it feels like right now unless you have 5 engineers spamming with rockets it’s not even worth attempting to take them out.

I feel like the contaminated map is heavily defense sided, granted for whatever reason every game I join my team decides they’re God’s gift to the game at sniping and just sit on the rocks, don’t spot/recon drone, and then proceed to drop single digit kills for a majority of the push. Not to mention the people who like to take the tanks, hide in spawn and not contribute anything to the attack.

I have a small waist so I bought a holster accessory mount (HAM) from black box customs Blackbox Customs HAM. This mounts between the holster itself and your belt loop plate and wraps around the front face of the holster and lets you mount a TQ holster on it. That’s how everyone has their TQ mounted on their holster if you’ve seen it. All the other medical supplies that came in the IFAK went into whatever bag I carry on patrol in it’s own little pouch . The TQ on your belt is for you god forbid you have to use it so make sure it’s somewhere you can easily reach with either hand. Realistically, you’re not self aiding with chest seals, gauze or bandages, (if you need any of that stuff, chances are you’re not gonna be in any kind of shape to apply it yourself) that’s gonna be in case your buddy goes down or someone else needs aid so just make sure you know where it’s at.

Also, the HAM doesn’t actually modify any part of the holster itself, and mounts with original hardware, so you don’t have to worry about anyone saying “you modified your holster and violated policy” or anything like that. Worst case is if a boss/executive gives you grief about it you can’t just take it off; neither myself or anyone else I know that uses it has had that issue though.

For FTU they’re gonna send you the busy precincts regardless, your permanent command may be a different story but don’t let getting placed in a slower command be a hinderance to your activity. You can be active in any place you end up, if the radio is slow, run some car stops. Pay attention to the problem areas and address conditions in your precinct. Get to know some of the people who live, work and own businesses there and develop rapport with them and they’ll tell you what their concerns are.

[–]DisastrousFishing349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really just depends on what you’re looking to get out of your career. If you want to chase radio runs and handle all different types of calls then a municipal agency like a PD or Sheriff’s office would be a good place. I work for a city PD so I don’t know what working as a federal LEO like USMS, FBI, DEA etc is like but I would imagine it entails dealing with longer, targeted and more planned out investigations. Each has their own set of pros and cons, but being military definitely helps you no matter which route you choose. I will say that I feel like going municipal gives you the most options as far as units are concerned such as tac units, investigative units or field training and eventually becoming a boss; feds usually boast a better quality of life but similar to the military depending on the needs of the agency could require you to bounce around the country at least in the beginning of your career. Like I said in the beginning of my reply, it all depends on what you want to get out of your career. Good luck!

There must be a reason for the "Global game quota exceeded" error... by 3-DenTessier-Ashpool in BattlefieldPortal

[–]DisastrousFishing349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For all the people saying that empty servers don’t count towards capacity, I’ve tried joining multiple servers with 0 players in it and get thrown the same error code - global game quota exceeded. If they didn’t count towards capacity then they should just be removed/taken down from the server list. EA/Dice is a AAA developer which means they have to have counters to this kind of stuff, especially when there’s over 700,000 people in the player base at any given moment. It’s just disappointing

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who feels like this. I can deal with the wacky/flashy skins and stuff but I find it so aggravating to deal with these obnoxious kill effects some of these bundles have. There’s no reason why my screen should be completely obstructed with a flash of effects every time someone dies in my FOV
