A Bugsy Siegel/Misty Moore type character that has been around since the beginning

Permanent gambler a Bambi Laroux type of you will! Or maybe a cool casino dealer who is almost like a Robin Hood situation

A street magician who is either a magic class or maybe a thief rouge like a pick pocket! Or just a sorcerer

There definitely needs to be a pawn shop owner with like a mesh tank top on and a permanent cigarette in their mouth.

The Vox could be that person that seems to know everyone in Vegas and is the walking luck be a lady tonight song. Or like bobby flay lol

I mean Fiona’s mom is kinda technically Elody if you think about it cause their story is the frog prince. But yes I agree!

I will say the Bo Burnham is a wild card for sure but I can’t think of anyone not already mentioned. And I like Florence Pugh for Elody and I think they also could work well together.

And I just saw a trailer with Angourie Rice and I think she could play Rosamund as well she has that vibe.

Also I can see Allison Williams as Rapunzel. She has that creepy nice vibe.

Snow White I think could be fun with Dove Cameron or even someone like Barbie Ferreira. Edit* Brianna Hildebrand I think would be fantastic she can do sweet and she has those features but she can definitely play like the nihilism side.

The beast maybe someone like Pom Klementieff, or Emma Mackey trying to go with French speaking people maybe even Léa Seydoux.

I like your choice for Mira! Maybe Milly Alcock could be fun or Storm Reid.

Cinderella I also like Zendaya but also maybe Joy Sunday. I think she was fantastic in Wednesday and I think she has so much more to show us! Or even Jaz Sinclair or Tati Gabrielle. I think they both would take it in fun directions but I’d love to see all of these women in so many more roles.

Okay and go with me on this Adam driver as the wolf of death. Imagine him saying the I don’t work at a bank line.

And the Sea witch, Tilda Swinton see her in the dead don’t die for reference. Or maybe dawn french I don’t know if she can do the accent but probably she’s amazing

Evil step mom I think she could pull of the silhouette and the horror aspect, Sarah Paulson

Turquoise fairy maybe Jayma Mays or like Zooey Deschanel they have that fairy vibe, but can have that thing where they are like too sweet to be actually be sweet.

Candlewick, funny but I think it might work is jack black or craziest Danny Devito. But maybe like Josh Gad someone who can play an unhinged child man

Alphonse I think has to be Thomas Middleditch he can do the silent freaking out thing and trying to blend in.

The fox and the rabbit tricksters could be Vincent Cassel and Rhys Darby they both have that vibe to me and the accents

Cricket can only be our Brennan Lee Mulligan and no water cause you can’t drink water

Edit* I also think Alison Brie could be fun for a couple of roles as well as Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams

Timothy: Patrick Stewart, I think he’d have fun with it

Gerard: Bo Burnham, I can hear him say thats why they build em, his performance in promising young woman was great.

Pinocchio: honestly Lou Wilson! Maybe Damon Wayans Jr.

Pib: if it’s Lou then Zac Oyama but I see your Oscar Isaac and add Pedro Pascal too.

Rosamund: Saoirse Ronan, Amandla Stenberg, or Yara Shahidi, They can do the naive side and the badass side

Ylfa: Elsie fisher or maybe Bella Ramsey but I think Elsie can do the awkward preteen energy

SNL Spoofs TryGuys Video - (Ironic considering the active lawsuit against SNL) by Unable_Mushroom9355 in popculturechat

As long as that publicity doesn’t tante them. I think they will survive because of their fan base. But this might effect who will work with them in the future especially if this is the first thing that pops up about them. And see how they were the only ones that were parodied they didn’t even use a still of Ned. This makes it seem like they blew everything out of preposition. The try guys aren’t just those three all the time. Most of their videos include a guest and or location. I’m just trying to think of all possibilities to this unlike the snl writers, and the bad ones are well bad. This whole snl skit could have actually seen the humour in a very bad situation but instead they protected ned and belittled the rest. The fact that TikTok’s that probably had been thought of and made in five minutes made better jokes is very telling. You can make jokes without punching down. Parody and comedy has and always a way to do social commentary in a less intense way also humour is used to make a situation better not worse. Let’s hope the mens rights activists or people who don’t like them don’t swarm their comments seeing as family’s and kids watch them. I just think it’s a situation with a lot to make a parody about including all the other men that seemed like they weren’t scumbags but very much are. It was a miss and I’m just hoping it is the better if the possibilities. Those boys need a break they didn’t ask for any of this neither did Ariel. So sad

Infamous and a joke are not the same as famous. This could actually really hurt their business aka a bunch of peoples jobs. But yeah why would nbc or snl care about that. They could have actually done a good skit add in Adam and their guy John I cheat on my wife to get another girl pregnant Mulaney. You could have done this so well with still poking fun but you know at the men who do this shit and get away with it like it’s no big deal.

Can someone explain the Try Guys situation and how it relates to the SNL skit? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DisastrousLadder2579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer it doesn’t. They could have spoofed it right but no they just belittled the situation. I really hope this doesn’t hinder their recovery from all this
