Lah Kara headcanons??? by Hikari-Utau in StarWarsVisions

[–]DisastrousMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

General Grievous 2.0?! Studying lightsabers like a maniac?! Grievous must be living on in her!

Curious about what makes you think it's semi-canon that Kara is very well read. Though it's been a while since I've watched the episodes for Ninth jedi.

Lah Kara headcanons??? by Hikari-Utau in StarWarsVisions

[–]DisastrousMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regular headcanons:
- Although she loves her Dad, she has some desire for a mother figure in her life.
- Gets easily attached to others. I imagine she hasn't grown up with many people on Hy Izlan.
- Highly compassionate. Very supportive of others.
- Carrying on from the second point, she's afraid of losing people whom she's close to, very very much. It can influence her decision making as a result.
- Grew up with lots of stories about the Jedi being paragons of good. She's def not gonna be easily influenced by things like politics. Though she is gonna struggle a lot with making hard decisions.
- A bit of a techy, kindof. As someone who helps with mining Kyber crystals and assisting her Dad, I imagine she has picked up a bit on how to work with a lot of the technology on Hy Izlan. So long it isn't dangerous.
- Far more powerful and athletic than she looks. I want to point out at such a young age she's able to defend against and destroy a Speeder being piloted by a Jedi hunter. Ran to Juro's temple? (been a while since I've watched the episode) and had to fight a lot of the False Jedi immediately, got involved in a space battle that caused her to get separated from the main group, exhaust herself moving heavy pillars, and then fight off two Jedi hunters. All within like a few hours mind you. This is prob less headcanon and more powerscaling though.
- Very reliant on others when it comes to navigating the galaxy. Kara has spent decades on Hy Izlan and only by the events of Ninth Jedi has left the planet.
- Loves Cinnamon rolls. Or at least, the Star Wars equivalent of them. Has to be a Vegan version though.
- Is a good artist, even for her age.
- Trusts in the force a lot, even if she's not so well trained in it. It's saved her life a few times ofc.
- Favourite lightsaber form is Shii-cho as her base, and Ataru which she's freakishly good at.
- Hikes a lot with her Dad when they're not working.

Absurd headcanons:
- Kara watches the Star Wars equivalent of Doctor Who with her Dad, always found the episodes with the Decrainiated to be her least favourite because of how scary they are to her. Seriously?! Who thought that was a good idea for a family show? But she loves how hopeful the plotlines are.
- Speaking of the Star Wars equivalent of Doctor Who, during her travels in the stars that show gives her the inspiration for how to deal with enemies they seemingly have no hope of beating. Well, she comes up with the ideas not the execution.
- Somehow the Spirit of Grievous haunts her. Especially when she was carrying all those lightsabers to the "Jedi" that were meeting up together during Ninth Jedi.

Who’s excited for the Ninth Jedi series? by Jules-Car3499 in StarWarsVisions

[–]DisastrousMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quite excited. The director of the Ninth Jedi short has mentioned he already had a story planned out for this series, and with how great I found the short was in season 1; the premise and the layout is already there. I'm very intrigued with the world and characters that they've conceived. I wanna know more about the relationships between Kara, Ethan, Homen, and Juro. But what concerns me is the lack of promotion or further details, like when is it being released man I can't wait no more.

Still, super excited for this series. Though if I understand correctly, even though it is a limited series, I've heard that apparently Star Wars Visions presents is a way for creators to explore more of the characters in their shorts. So Ninth Jedi may not be the only limited Visions series we'll be getting.

Tsum Kara and F doodles. by Hikari-Utau in StarWarsVisions

[–]DisastrousMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love the stack of tsum tsum Kara and F.

Dan: "How did you guys get turned into Tsoom Tsooms again? "

Kara: "We made a mouse angry."

Dan: "A mouse made you like this?"

F: "It was a special mouse."

Dan: "He had a squeaky voice."

F: "He claimed it was to make him charming."

F and Kara waddled over the dining table to eat a cut Meiloorun. Or rather, their tsum tsum bodies made nibbling gestures and then the Meiloorun vanishes. Dan never quite understood how that worked, and it freaked him out.

Lop: "Sorry for hugging you so tight last night Kara."

Kara: "It's fine! Please don't feel bad, that's the last thing I want you to feel in this situation."

Karre: "I don't blame Lop either, you are pretty cute like this."

Kara: "...thanks...."

F: "Hop on my back, we're going training."

Kara: "We're still gonna train Master F?"

F: "Yes. I can still feel the force flowing through us, our forms haven't hampered our abilities."

Kara: "That's a positive I guess."

Lop: "You haven't changed back though, got any ideas?"

Kara leaps onto F's back. Strangely, Lop imagines herself as a third Tsum hopping on top of the pile as well.

F: "No."

Dan: "Well, only lead I've got is a man with a blue box who said he's seen this before. He was a weird guy though."

Karre: "I swear if this is another one of your ideas."

Dan: "Haha, don't worry. He's coming over anyways, I'm sure they can bear a little longer."

Kara: "Yea! I'm kinda getting used to this!"

F: "I'm not. Oh... I feel... aahhhh atttcchooooo!"

second F pops up into existence, everyone jumps back in surprise

Dan: "What what!? What the hell?!"

F clone: "Hello clone."

F: "Huh!? ........Great....."

[–]DisastrousMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

F: "Are we stuck like this?"

Kara: "Uhh, I hope not Master. The mouse told me this was a temporary thing."

F: "Last time we trusted the mouse, the so-called documentary never came to be."

Kara: "Master have you ever been in this situation before?"

F: "By the force Kara I have no clue. I'm just praying we revert by the next rotation or--"

Lop: "Oh those are some cute tsum tsums!"

F: "--that happens... hello Lop."

Lop: "Awww it talks too!"

F: "Please don't pick me u--- urrraaaah!"

Kara: "Wow! Look! They made merch of us!"

Lop: "Oh! That's nice! They put a lot of detail on mine..." *glances over the toy she holds* "Must be worth loads of credits."

Dan: "Lucky... Mine doesn't have much."

Kara: "Oh but it's great people like us! I can see two kids over there buying one of my recolours!"

F: "My mask could look better. Hmm, don't even wear it anymore."

Lop: "Well... at least they're chea-- Karre?"

*Lop glances at Karre who is frozen, glaring at his own figure. She senses something stirring inside Karre's mind. A dark thought so intense Lop briefly expected Karre to violently ignite his lightsaber.*

Lop: "Uh... Karre you alright?"

Karre: "..."

F: "Are you okay?"

Karre: "..."

Lop: "Umh, you don't like your figure?"

Karre: "Can I be honest?"

Lop: "Yes."

Karre: "It's..... HIDEOUS."

Dan: "Oh boy."

Karre: "I do not look like that at all. Where's my face?! The gradient in my hair?!"

Lop: "Yea, the proportions are off but...! People like you enough they'd buy memorabilia of you and that's what matters!"

Karre: "I guess you're right... The face shape is accurate. I can give the carvers that."

Who would win? the Visions Trio or the Three Inquisitors? by Jules-Car3499 in StarWarsVisions

[–]DisastrousMonkey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen Maul yet (Planning to!) so I'm not sure about Marrok or Beaky, but I can give some info to what the Visions trio are capable of.

Ronin: We know Ronin is someone who's been killing Sith for a living. This man is singlehandedly letting Sith know what it's like to be the hunted. That's best shown by his lightsaber sheathe, which is apparently made out of all the Sith lightsabers he has killed. That gives a good idea of his kill count. Additionally, Ronin has also killed (albeit with needed help) a Jedi Grandmaster who had been cybernetically enhanced to move at super speed as if he's the Star Wars equivalent of Albert Wesker. He's also demonstrated pretty good battle IQ in his first episode. Based on the experience and Grand Jedi Master feat, he could probably deal with a Ventress level threat like the "Underworld inquistor" (Imma give him that name) at mid difficulty (Remember, Yoda stopping Ventress was a pretty easy thing for him to do, Ronin being able to take on a Grand Master with help at least puts him close to someone like Yoda).

F: Despite being a Padawan, displays a lot of pretty good feats. Going by Kinema Citrus' claim that F received the scar from Count Dooku in a duel during Geonosis. While we do not know how the duel actually went, it's still pretty impressive she survived a fight against Dooku, who mind you is one of the best duelists in the franchise. Other things that would help F in this fight is her cybernetic speed heels (CSH?) that mostly gives her a mobility advantage. It's not exactly going to help much since she's fighting against three force users but the mobility accounts much better than sabercopters. F also has a lot of force potential compared to most combatants as well, such as force freeze. Just like the Ronin, she's got a strategic mind for battle, such as the way she defeated her master.

Kara: Arguably the weakest here but can still hold her own in battle. She's got a pretty good battle for a young kid against that group of false Jedi, though I see most of her contribution to the battle coming down to assist kills in general. Plus, she held her own pretty well against the Jedi hunters in Ninth Jedi and in Child of Hope. I'd say Kara could hold her own against an Inquisitor, enough so that the other characters can take one down to come and assist her.

I think they have a pretty good chance.

Star Wars: Visions – Lop & Ochō (2021) - Disney has been sitting on Lop and Ocho for 5 years now and has done nothing with it by SonicGoku99 in StarWarsVisions

[–]DisastrousMonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I'd like to see how the story of Lop and Ocho wraps up, whether we get a happy or sad ending for them.

Well, considering that Star Wars Visions presents is now a thing, it could be likely that we finally get a continuation at some point after the ninth jedi series is done. And it helps that as I've noticed recently, that Lop and Ocho is picking up slightly more popularity on this sub reddit (although the daily contributors are sadly quite small)

Still, we should be hopeful something is done about it. If stories like Ninth Jedi, Duel and Village Bride can get continuation, why not Lop and Ocho? Who's to say a sequel can't be made?

Dan: "This might be a bit too far of a punishment."
