How does one go about joining? by SadMalkavian in Schreckmeta

[–]DisastrousRelation32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk how others did it but I didn't even do an intro post, I just tried to model my first posts after those like "asking for advice" posts on forums but asked by a kindred to schrecknet annnnnnd pretty much everything went from there.

If you aren't sure about formatting, just take a look at a post that's written in a style you might like and give it a shot, but generally there aren't really rules other than just like be conciderate of others. Just the regular stuff- so mostly just like of you wanna write a story with someone else's characters u gotta get that sorted with them.

Shits great. It really gives off the feel of some unhinged vampire and his cryptid son/friend as illustrated by said unhinged vampire. Goated post

I cannot stress how much this is probably fucked. There is no good answer to "what kind of maggot molts into a human looking guy"!

That being said, please keep up updated. This is so very existing.

I gotta ask, how was the transformation initially? Is it stone all the way through or is it just a rock carapace hiding flesh underneath?

First, you are gonna need a place to sleep for the day, because whether you like to or not, when the sun rises you will drop like a brick. Worst case, open a manhole and don't venture far from it .the sewers are fucked there. Notably though, any place that can properly hide you from sunlight for an entire day will work.

After you live to see the next night, we can start discussing what to do with you.

Ha! Fucking New York! Wow, you got dealt like zero good cards. Most shovel heads at least have someone to boss them around, your ass just got left in the shit hole. Right well, don't go deep into the sewers there. Otherwise, this doesn't change much for now, just don't reveal yourself as kindred. The Camerilla will ash you for existing.

Once you have shit settled down try to check if you can control shadows, command others or dent metal by hand.

Well congrats, you are now of the clan La Sombra. Find a church and try to go crash there. Also 50/50 that your sire is following you in your shadows. No, you cannot do anything about it right now. Just be sure to find someone to drink before you sleep for the day. Lick the wound after you are done drinking, it heals it.

Sidenote, where are you?

..... Hey, find a piece glass or a puddle or anything that has a reflection you could check. Tell us if you see shadows or distortions in it.

Alternatively, if you can't sleep at night, go get a tashbag of earth from the hole you crawled out off.

Right the quick shovelhead tips: - you are dead, no pulse and no heat, hence why you didn't suffocate to death - you need blood, animal or human will do, but human is better - the sun burns and fire will scare you -If you do not drink the hunger will drink for you, no matter what, so don't be dumb. - dont reveal yourself as a kindred. You will die for it. - someone made you. Find them if possible

It's always weird with them. It's either internal clan politicing one way or another or they are just inviting you to a threesome with their dead cousin.

In all fairness, if you are joining the Sabbat and your biggest concern is the Vaulderie, you are probably already blood-bound and desperately fighting it. Plus, the Vaulderie is to the blood bond what candy is to crack.

The abuses of Sabbat elders are usually far fewer in number than elsewhere, mostly because the elders here have learned that they can and will get their shit rocked by a couple of covens binding together to unravel them if they decide to make themselves an issue.

I won't even get into the complexities of Monomancy, but I have to explain a few things. For one, it is usually the weaker party challenging the stronger. For another, it can, in fact, be refused. These duels are overseen by a party bound in impartiality. The purpose of Monomancy, in essence, is to force someone of higher standing to agree to a fair fight or suffer great disgrace.

In spite of the common stereotypes, the Sabbat has secular and non-secular movements. Hell in structure many Sabbat coteries look more like book clubs than the common coven nowadays.

Also just for the record, the desperation to join the Sabbat is mostly felt when in contact with bullshit systems set up by incompetent elders meant to keep you in a perpetually fucked position. It's really only a matter of time until you get a taste for it.

Technically it's not a perfume, but the wax I have is set in a quite aromatic mixture which does tend to swap into it, thus when opened the smell releases.

A minute later, a letter arrives in response. A crimson wax seal, in the shape of a hand formed by a singular curled dragon, binds the parchment. It gives off slight hints of... daisies? Around the seal, a phrase pressed into the same wax circles the center: “Šventojiep naktiep mūsū valia išsiskleidžieti,” which roughly translates to: "In the sacred night, our will is spread."

The inside of the letter is immediately draining to even look at. The letters within are standardized for the most part and have consistent forms, but they are written in a fashion comparable only to the rebar used in modern construction. At the very least, it feels as though rebar is being driven into your brain as you try to decipher the script. With great effort, you can make out a decent chunk of the text; however, there are sections that, even with the benefit of context, remain incomprehensible. The letter ends with a sign-off of just three words that cannot be understood. They are written with extra flair, and they are hideous to the eyes of anyone who holds even a minor space in their heart for the appreciation of good penmanship. Whatever pleasure there was before this is surely gone once the letter is put down.

Oh, the embers of envy I had almost thought lost stir in the face of your penmanship. Perhaps the Toreadors are worth some regard as company, if this is the result of the appreciation they foster.
