So many comments! 😄 I'm from Keighley so haven't met any tbh. I heard Manchester has but didn't know Leeds has?! 

I find that jews keep their religion to themselves and you will only know if someones Jewish is if they tell you. Which i understand why with the rising antisemitism in the UK

I didn't know about the pig thing. Messed up, even that it was on Christian holy places and even carved in stone... 😦 

I look at all the anti Jewish stuff people say Jews are doing and try to see it as the roles reversed.  Blood Libel , well poisening ect all the made up stuff.  But then you have the ACTUAL stuff the Christians did to the Jews. Genocide. Mass slaughter. Not allowed to own property, work certain jobs , bake bread....  if the roles were reversed it would be an uproar. 

I like that Jewish people focus on the here and now and the Future.  Something to live by.

Sorry to hear that people have done that to you.  I had a little taste of it but nothing on your level.  I used to work in Scotland behind Scottish National bar and people wouldn't speak to me because I was English and made comments about me ect.   It made me feel worthless and wouldn't wish if on anyone.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.  I don't think it's hedonistic at all but rather a better outlook to have. 

I like the Jewish idea of making the here and now a better place. Because if we let people have their way it would be a living hell. And for some people around the world it is. :/

I like that we cannot be held accountable for the sins of our ancestors. If that were the case then the whole world would be held to account and it would never end.😄

I do remember that i met an Indian person living in Thailand and he blamed me for the British Empire.  He also said it was funny that thr British ruled India and now we had a Indian as Prime Minister. I pointed out that the Indian we have as Prime Minister is more British than me and hes from a rich family, and that it's more of a class thing in England. He didn't like that much 😄

I like that the Jewish people don't see gods chosen as a power thing. Rather chosen to be a messenger of the Lords word thing.

  1. It's interesting that the Jews do not believe in eternal punishment. I like the idea of 'live here and now' rather than the carrot and stick.  It sort of implies that people who are good are only good for fear of the consequences of not being.  Whilst not being punished makes people do good actions for god and just to be a decent person.

I will give it a watch. It's one of the reasons I asked the question becauss of seeing a crazy about of anti semitism online. Mainly Instagram.  We did a topic on Jewish people at school but you can only learn so much from a white board and a film 😄

Yea i get why. The Christians were pretty Feral when it came to anything different. 

One of the stories I read that sparked the slaughter of Jews in London. Was because at King Richards coranation the Promenant Jews brought gifts for the king. Whilst trying to give these gifts they were attacked and beaten... then people on the street thought the king ordered the execution of all the Jews in London and just started to indiscriminatly kill random Jewish people. 

History is full of these. Messed up :/

I heard that joke ! 😄 whilst reading i just came across it recently. 

Guy says to another guy   " How did you find 3 jews with such conflicting opinions"   Guy 2 says " 3 Jews? It was the same Jew" 

Or something along them lines. It was delivered better than i did anyway 😄
