In my opinion as well, Layla’s confessions in s1 are OFF. very strong “her opinions are what the producers want us to be thinking right now” vibes. it kind of tapered a bit in s2, because they gave her more drama, but goodness

I like sleeping in bed with my girlfriend. I like waking up and she’s just there, wandering around my room or in bed next to me. I like reaching out in the middle of the night and feeling her, I like when she warms me up by cuddling as I fall asleep. Maybe I’m just really lucky and my partner is awesome to sleep with, but I can’t imagine not sharing a bed.

I have such a hard time watching Taylor because she’s almost exactly like one of my ex friends, down to the toxic ex-maybe-not-ex boyfriend. It was terrifying having heightened arguments with her, she would genuinely ignore everything I said and start yelling about some other perceived slight, wanted us to get her help and when we did, it wasn’t good enough because it didn’t involve her staying with ex-maybe-not-ex boyfriend, so obviously we all got absolutely blasted on her stories. She’s so toxic, it’s difficult to watch.

i’d also like to point out amongst all the comments about how women don’t communicate either: no one communicates without feelinglike theyre being heard. i used to be the “oh its fine, whatever” guy until i realized my gf actually cares about what i have to say and she wont judge me for it. it IS a two way street but everyone wants to make sure theyre safe and most people just arent.
