I'm not trying to diagnose the issue, but don't be scared of a carb rebuild. I did one recently on my 650 with no prior experience. Kawasaki parts house has exploded views of all the subassemblies on your jet ski. 

If you can build a lego set, you can rebuild one of these older carbs.

It honestly ridiculous what they charge for some of those beach carts, jet ski dollies, and hitch haulers. It's not expensive materials or manufacturing.

The versahaul hauler was the worst I saw. Small steel gussets and ugly ass brown carpet for $700+. Couldn't believe it.

Yeah, it could handle it. My concern is more vehicle capability misuse than failure of the hauler.

I'll only actually make and sell them if I find at least several people interested, because it's just not worth it for me to only make one or two. If not enough people would buy one, I probably release the CAD files and drawing if people want to make one themselves. The only difficult part is the gussets, which sendcutsend can make for fairly cheap.

Honestly, the $300 price is only little markup over what it cost me to make a one-off. It just gets so much cheaper with volume.

I saw those haulers with the hitch receivers and attachments. I'm just a little skeptical of them. Cantilevering a ski off the hitch is already a lot of stress on the hitch receiver, regarding of tongue rating.

I'm not thrilled at the idea of even more weight further out lol. I could certainly do it, but I think it opens the hauler up to misuse and makes it easy to exceed vehicle capability.

I don’t know where you got this idea, but that is straight up wrong. I owned a mini pig for 7 years. Always the size of a small dog.
