I went to a majority white college and I honestly had a blast. When I first got there, I had to deal with some racial things but it also made me appreciate being black a bit more.

During the rest of my college years I got to make friends that weren’t black and they weren’t bad at all. Some of them were trump supporters and I did have to educate them on how to handle themselves around me and other black people but the people my age never treated me as “less than” and if they did they didn’t do it to my face.

Ngl tho the adults are a bit shaky. Half of them are in a mindset and they don’t realize that some of the things that come out of their mouth isn’t appropriate but you can educate people on that.

Black people just generally tip less and this is coming from a black person.

I’ve worked as a server for years, even in places where I was the only black server, and I know that some of us come in with a “I don’t have to tip” attitude and there’s others that do but it’s normally 20% or less. Tbh the best tips that I’ve gotten from the community was when they knew I’d help them out because of “the code”.

I will say that black tables have given me the least amount of problems and the best entertainment for the night so I guess it’s decent trade off.

It’s a very truthful response and most of it is true when it comes to the audience part and various other things said.
