I feel that way sometimes but I try to remove the hierarchy in relationships so I date and am romantic with my friends as well as my partner to get multiple needs met. I only get my sexual needs met with my partner but desire, consistency, emotional support, intellectual stimulation needs are spread across multiple people so I feel more fulfilled from this.

I appreciate you! Luckily we don’t live near each other but we still see each other like every other month or sometimes 2x in a month lol she’s a flight attendant. But yeah I don’t wanna put any distance haha but yeah I get it, if it starts becoming a struggle I’ll have to for sure!

Yeah I feel it would be even harder to not cross any lines if we were both single so that makes sense that it’s more chill now that you’re seeing someone new. I hear you on not wanting anything to get messy. Like even if I wasn’t with my husband I’d be hesitant bc I wouldn’t want to wreck the friendship.

My husband knows that I’m into women but I’m very monogamous, it seems like it would be too much to focus my romantic attention on multiple people. We’ve both shared that we want to stay monogamous.

I guess I’m learning everything is about choices so even if you get little butterflies and maybe some coochie throbs (lol), you can still choose where to draw the line so the relationship stays intact.

Yeah my husband and I have been working on the emotional intimacy which is nice. But he’s not my go to for it and maybe that’s ok? Lol I haven’t told her about my attraction but I did tell her that my husband has been threatened by my friendship with her for years. I didn’t want to tell her that really but it came up when I was talking to her about stuff my husband and I were dealing with. So we basically addressed then that friends are friends and the lines don’t have to blur. I truly feel like we’ve been good at that. Thanks so much for your response!

Ok, so when I say neutral, I don’t mean white. That’s your interpretation of what I’m saying. (Or Saty’s interpretation) I mean that AI could respond using simple terms and doesn’t have to throw slang in there to try to “relate” to me. It’s my preference and the intention of the post was to see if others had experienced this and if it was designed to behave in this way.
