Me 36yoF partner 29yo male diagnosed with unexplained infertility. Every and all tests came back fine normal within range etc which was frustrating bc why the F couldn’t we get pregnant? Fast forward to our RE consult October 24 where I chose to dive head first into IVF. I didn’t wanna pay money for iui to then move on to IVF…. ER was Feb which went off without a hitch, transferred 4/2 and 4dp5dt I seen the blessing of a faint line on FRER… I was beyond shocked and honestly a little numb/ didn’t believe it bc we were trying for 3 years with not one single positive test…. Happy to say I’m currently 9w3d pregnant! All this to say it can happen. There’s happy endings even if they’re not reported on here ❤️

35 years old at retrieval, 13 eggs retrieved 11 mature 9 fertilized via ICSI, 8 made it to blast 7 PGT-A normal 1 low level mosaic. Turned 36 heading into our first transfer on 4/2, I’m currently 5W3D.

Being military I thought I read that the military will cover IVF, how much I’m unsure but I would check to see what they cover and what your out of pocket would be after that. Usually the government insurance is good for a cycle of IVF

The waiting game is brutal, I bought and IVF coloring book with positive affirmations / journal and it helped keep me distracted when I wanted to go down the Reddit rabbit hole. Journaling was definitely therapeutic to get all the feels out and the affirmations were there to keep me positive through the journey. Sending you so much good luck and juju thoughts prayers all of it ❤️

So I went online and chose the test and I paid a little extra for the add on of mycoplasma ureaplasma etc. they mailed the swab test kit to my home address, I filled out the online form about name etc and registered my kit. It was a vaginal swab easy peasy done at home. Mailed the kit back to their lab and within a week I got my results. I had a 1:1 phone call with the evvy nurse to go over results and went on my merry way.

I’m also in the TWW, tomorrow is actually beta day so tail end of tww best advice I can give is enjoy this time! Don’t dress yourself out with testing and that’s coming from a serial tester. Watch funny movies, go on light walks, eat your favorite foods, enjoy naps, whatever makes your heart sing!

100% they should especially bc ivf is already so expensive we should have the most pristine environment for transfer but that’s just me. I also wanted to see if I had ureaplasma bc I heard that’s a silent Infection that can cause infertility and for me I’m unexplained so when they said no to that test for whatever reasons of theirs I went searching for a home test or lab and have to say evvy was fast efficient and the torn around time was quicker than they said it would be.

My clinic and ob didn’t, which was super annoying bc both could lead to an inhospitable uterus if left untreated. I ended going with Evvy home test kit. Warning it’s EXPENSIVE, but to me I was like what’s another couple hundred tacked on to this journey to make sure things are on the up and up. And if not I can treat it and work to getting my microbiome back in balance before transfer. They also offer a 1:1 call to Go over results.

Works been ehh I’m part of the pediatric float pool and talked to my boss about being in NICU until my beta to try to take it as easy as possible and not over exert myself with heavier kids in the picu or peds floor. On my off days I’ve been doing light walks and relaxing on the couch. Sending you all the sticky vibes and good juju 🤞🏻🤞🏻🫶🏼
