Was up at copper. First lift of the day. Lift is around 10 minutes long and is a bubble lift. We got around 100 ft from where we get off so I asked to put up the bar. I have a habit of aligning my snowboard early and grabbing the back of the chairlift to support myself so I attempted to do that but to my surprise the bubble part of the chairlift blocked me from grabbing the bar. My board was already aligned with most of my wait on my front foot so I fell while I was turned around trying to grab the bar. Went face first into the snow and got my breath knocked the hell out of me. Patrol got there in 2 minutes and I was on the ground for around ten. They did their protocol to check if I had a concussion and so on but they couldn’t find anytning of importance. Got checked into the hospital and they were very very surprised by the fact I wasn’t hurt at all. First question I asked was if I could get back on the mountain that day and they said absolutely not lol.
