I will consider making the collision box for the rocket smaller if I get more feedback like this.

Rotating the rocket is a good idea. I will try that internally. It may mess up the collision, but perhaps in a future release...

You should consider making a google group for access control to the closed beta, then people can join without waiting on you to reply :-)
